Forest Glen Townhomes at 400 Alpine Way, Midland, Michigan.

This review is mostly a reflection on the staff. I was there recently with my boyfriend to look at one of their townhouses. When we walked into the clubhouse, we weren't immediately acknowledged or told it would be a minute (we were clearly waiting to talk with someone) which I thought was odd considering we are potential 'customers' and I figured you'd want to make a good first impression. About a minute or so later, one of the staff came out (I wish I got her name) and sat us down to go over some of the details and qualifications. It seemed as though she was talking down to us, like, "do you understand?" - that was quite off-putting. Then, as we were walking over to see the unit, there were some kids on bikes on the sidewalk where we were walking... she just motioned for them to move, which I thought was incredibly rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. She also made some snide remarks and came off extremely pretentious (not a conversationalist by any means). When we decided it was a no for us she didn't seem interested in trying to keep us there.

The community looks great, quiet and homey, but none of the units have dishwashers which is strange. Maybe if the staff was a bit more welcoming we would have considered it.
